Luxury Vinyl Plank Installation in New Jersey
Waterproof, tough and easy to clean. We install luxury vinyl plank over a flat, solid base, using self-leveling compound and new plywood where your floor needs it.
Why luxury vinyl plank
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) gives you a realistic wood look with a waterproof core and a tough wear layer. It's a smart choice for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, rentals and busy homes with kids and pets.
- Waterproof planks for kitchens, baths and basements
- Scratch- and stain-resistant wear layer
- Quieter and warmer underfoot than tile
- Wide range of wood and stone looks
Self-leveling: the step that makes LVP last
Click-lock vinyl plank needs a flat floor. On a dip or hump, joints can flex, gap or pop apart over time. Before we install, we check the subfloor. Where it's uneven, we pour self-leveling compound, a liquid underlayment that flows out and hardens into a flat, solid surface. On wood subfloors that are damaged or soft, we put down new plywood.

Where we install vinyl plank

Questions
Vinyl Plank (LVP) Installation questions
Is luxury vinyl plank waterproof?
The planks themselves are waterproof, which makes LVP a strong choice for kitchens, baths and basements. Standing water can still reach the subfloor at the edges, so leaks should be dried quickly.
What is self-leveling and do I need it?
Self-leveling is a pourable compound that flattens an uneven subfloor. LVP needs a flat base to lock together and wear evenly, so we check your floor at the estimate and level only where it's needed.
Can vinyl plank go over my existing floor?
Sometimes, if the existing floor is flat, solid and well attached. Carpet always comes out. We tell you what can stay at the walkthrough.
Is LVP good for basements?
Yes. Its waterproof core makes it one of the best choices for below-grade spaces.
